P2 student Trey Draude (class of 2015) has accepted a Junior Commissioned Officer Student Training and Extern Program (JRCOSTEP) position for the summer of 2013. Draube will be working in Rockville MD in the Division of the Civilian Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps under the Office of the Surgeon General.

“I will be attending a conference in June for HOSA in Nashville to participate as a judge in the election of a student intern. I will then be involved in the selection of candidates, notification, and project development of events that take place during the conference. I will also have a project from last year’s JRCOSTEP that needs some finalization involving Public Health Curriculum and will be starting a “Generation Y” marketing and outreach campaign using the tagline “Be the Answer.”
