Osama Alshogran with the first place trophy presented to him at the AAPS meeting held in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Graduate student Osama Alshogran won first place in the podia presentations at the AAPS regional meeting and research forum held on May 3rd-4th, 2013 in Morgantown, West Virginia. The major goal of the meeting was to connect, collaborate and communicate with regional northeastern AAPS chapters, including graduate students, post-docs and mentors, and to enhance inter school interaction and share research ideas and experience. Alshogran’s presentation was titled “Effect of Experimental Kidney Failure on Warfarin Reduction in Rats.”

Faculty member Thomas Nolin is Alshogran’s advisor in the School of Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Science Program.
