PittPharmacy’s SNPhA chapter participated in the JDRF One Walk For a World Without Type 1 Diabetes on Saturday, September 19, 2015. The walking team included pharmacy students,undergraduate students and the SNPhA Duquesne chapter. All were motivated to take part in the larger movement against Type 1 diabetes.
The chapter’s fundraiser included designing T-shirts and selling them before the walk and asking people to donate through social media. There was also the incentive for any undergraduate to win a PCAT Practice Book for highest number of donations.
