PittPharmacy student Ashley Blazewick (Class of 2019) was selected as a member of the Walgreens Corporate Pharmacy Internship program, summer 2017, at the Walgreens corporate headquarters in Deerfield, Illinois. Only two pharmacy students from across the nation are selected for this program each year. The internship will involve 3-4 rotations over the course of 12 weeks where interns work with mentors from different pharmacy operations departments to complete challenging business projects and drive department goals.
The Walgreens Pharmacy Corporate Internship Program gives student pharmacists the opportunity to enhance their educational experience with a corporate perspective of pharmacy practice and learn what it takes to be an innovator in the industry.
